We work hard at teaching our students the correct techniques of every subject to maintain a high standard. We have found that this has resulted in the students achievements being beyond our expectations. This has encouraged our students to continue to maintain the hard work that they put in knowing that it will result in awards and rewards.

We work closely together with students to help develop confidence, strength, discipline, social skills, good posture and trust within the dance classes. Classes are held in a fun and friendly environment, which is what makes SDC so unique. The friendships and relationships built are for life.

Older students also work closely with their teachers to prepare them for all auditions they may be attending, with full time dance college being one of the most important. 

"Dance to Express"

It's not only about the dance classes at SDC, students have had many successful events that they have participated in outside the studios.

SDC follow the examination board BTDA & ISTD, which is optional to any student if they would like to gain dance qualifications along the way. Subjects are taken in Tap, Ballet, Modern and Acrobatics.

Principal Jordon at SDC has a clear vision of where she wants the students to be and will always work alongside every student to help them achieve their goals.
